My research examines the contextual factors shaping the transition to adulthood among Black youth. Using an intersectional approach, I examine the impact of structural inequalities on personal growth and resilience during the transition to adulthood. My ultimate goal as a researcher is to bridge academic research with practical applications for Black youth and emerging adults.
